A nationally renowned cartoonist and illustrator, Tucson-native Eleanor Davis now lives with her husband and fellow cartoonist Drew Weing in the vibrant town of Athens, Georgia. Boasting an impressive list of clients, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic, Time Magazine, Slate, The Washington Post, and Fantagraphics Books, Eleanor still finds time to publish award-winning books and graphic novels. Eleanor’s latest book, Why Art?, was published by Fantagraphics in 2018. The featured piece, You & a Bike & a Road, is one such novel. Published by Annie Koyama of Koyama Press, Davis documented her 2016 cross-country bike tour as it happened, making for an incredible chronicle of the human experience for which she was awarded the Ignatz Award for Outstanding Anthology or Collection.
